Integrations
Works with the rest of your rig.
The Corner speaks OSC and MIDI Show Control, imports cue lists from QLab and Eos, and has inputs and outputs for the hardware around the desk. Every message that arrives is logged, so a test fire shows up in the report at once.
Sound and video
QLab 5
Standby and GO a department from a network cue, or let QLab drive the cue stack.
- In Settings, Network, Patch, add a network patch to the Corner's address, port 8000, UDP, OSC message.
- Add a Network cue with
/promptside/on the cue before the moment you want to warn.channel/ 3/ standby - Add a Network cue with
/promptside/. Leave the channel Strict, so QLab can't GO an operator who hasn't acknowledged. The refusal is logged.channel/ 3/ go - Or group
/promptside/with your sound cue, and the DSM's cue stack follows QLab.cue/ go - To follow Promptside in QLab, add the Mac as an OSC target in Book and trigger on
/promptside/.cue/ current
Lighting
ETC Eos
OSC in both directions, and cue numbers straight from the console.
- In Setup, System, Show Control, OSC, turn on OSC TX to the Corner's address, port 8000. Turn on OSC RX to hear from the Corner.
- Send
/promptside/orchannel/ 5/ go /promptside/from a macro or a cue's external links.cue/ go - Fire a Promptside cue by number with
/promptside/and the stringcue/ fire 12.5. - Export the cue list as CSV from Eos and import it in Book under Cues. Numbers and labels merge in; the channels and notes you've set are kept.
Anything with MIDI
MIDI Show Control and notes
Plug a USB MIDI interface into the Corner and it's picked up within 5 s.
An MSC GO runs CUE GO. With a cue number, such as GO 12.5, it fires that cue. Any device ID, any command format.
| Note | Does |
|---|---|
| 60 (C4) | CUE GO |
| 61 (C#4) | Standby cue |
| 62 (D4) | Next |
| 63 (D#4) | Previous |
| 64 (E4) | Back |
Any MIDI channel, any velocity above 0.
Everything else
OSC address space
The Corner listens on UDP 8000 and TCP 8001 (OSC 1.1, SLIP), and sends to as many targets as you set in Book. Find it on the network as _promptside._tcp.

/promptside/cue/next | Next cue |

On the Corner
Inputs and outputs
Foot switches
Two inputs for master GO and master STBY, so a DSM on book can keep both hands on the script.
Contact closure
A relay output that pulses on every GO, for kit that only understands a closed contact.
CSV import
Import cue lists from QLab's or Eos's CSV export, or from a simple spreadsheet of cues and channels.
